Magical World: Zutara Month Day 15

The world is sailing on a tide of hope.
Gone are the days of dark terrors from far,
Now are the times of peace where we are,
A magical land under a magical star.

The star is the unity of two men I love.
One was a boy that saved the whole world,
The other, a lord with his banners unfurled,
As I viewed their triumph, my heart was quite twirled.

We never gave up on making more right.
Remaking the wrongs was like aging a wine,
You can’t force change with the world on the line,
It takes a steady, ageless will to replant and refine.

Now it is that our children inherit the earth.
May the skies never turn dark, as when I was their age,
May they never know the cold chains in the cell of cage,
I smile, take a bow, then let them take the stage.
